Exclusive - Audio Ease Update Indoor Impulse Response Reverb with Dolby Atmos Height Channels

We are happy to exclusively reveal that Audio Ease, the makers of immersive impulse response reverbs Indoor and Altiverb and modelling software Speakerphone, have updated their reverb Indoor to take advantage of the new 7.1.2 bus structure now available in Pro Tools 12.8HD onwards.

Future Proofed

From the very beginning, Indoor was designed with height channels in mind, even though when it was released back in 2016, height channel integration in Pro Tools could best be described as "a bit of a bodge".

Indeed the impulse response microphone rig used by Audio Ease included height measurement, which was captured on all the spaces featured in the Indoor plugin.

This rotating rig is the special factor that allows for the stunning 360 degree panning offered by the Indoor reverb plug-in.

Now all you need to do is select the Indoor (7.0.2) option when assigning your reverb. Apart from enabling the two extra discrete outputs, nothing else internally has changed, so you still get the incredible sound, 360-degree panning and the wonderful intuitive control interface. Just update to the latest 1.0.6 version using the Audio Ease Updater.

Audio Ease's reverb technology is also integrated into their 360Pan suite, so keep an eye out for all things immersive from this ground breaking manufacturer.
