Apple, the makers of the Mac, iPad and other associated software and hardware, has today announced the public beta of macOS High Sierra.

In an email Apple writes;

"The iOS 11, macOS High Sierra, and tvOS 11 public betas are now available. As a member of the Apple Beta Software Program, you can take part in shaping Apple software by test-driving pre-release versions and letting us know what you think."

macOS High Sierra And iOS 11 - Our Advice

As this is a beta then we strongly recommend that you do not install this on mission critical Macs, few third party hardware and software vendors have publicly qualified their products for macOS High Sierra, iOS 11 and problems may occur.

Our advice with a new OS is always the same, do not install if you have work to do. It would be wise to take even more care with a beta version. It is possible everything will work fine, but we suggest you exercise caution or repent at leisure.
