Our friends at Focusrite are very pleased to announce a new series of free tutorial videos.  Called the Focusrite Academy, these new videos cover different aspects of the recording process.

Recording Drums

The first series of tutorials covers recording drums. Focusrite has put producer Tim Harbour together with top session and live drummers Alessandro Lombardo and Craig Blundell to cover all aspects of recording the drum kit. 

The series is divided into 20, yes 20 videos covering drum tuning, microphone choice and placement. Using simple one and two mic techniques to record the kit right the way up to complex eight and twelve microphone setups.
