Our friends at Blue Cat Audio have released the anticipated new versions of Blue Cat's MB-7 and Blue Cat's Patchwork plug-ins. Reviews to follow for both these Blue Cat Audio plug-ins over the coming weeks.

Blue Cat's Patchwork V2

Patchwork hosts AU and VST plug-ins for use in DAWs such as Pro Tools. Users can build several plug-in chains with the Parallel Chain section that can be compared and mixed between. This is a very simple plug-in to use and also extends as a plug-in bridge between different DAWs.

Blue Cat's MB-7 V3 Mixer

The MB-7 Mixer is similar to Blue Cat's Patchwork plug-in as both can host AU and VST plug-ins in Pro Tools. The MB-7 features extended mix controls similar to multi-band compressor plug-ins.

• Customers who purchased or registered the plug-ins within 6 months prior to launch will receive the new versions for free.
• Customers who purchased these plug-ins before the 6 month window can upgrade to the new versions for a small fee (VAT excluded):
  • PatchWork: 15 EUR or $19
  • MB-7 Mixer: 19 EUR or $25
