In the Pro Tools Expert 2017 Christmas Competition, we offered the chance of winning an Audio Technica AT2035 Studio bundle worth  $397, as one of 31 great prizes on offer worth over $16,000 in total. We can announce that Will Melones is the lucky winner.

The AT2035 Studio is a collaboration between Audio Technica and Audient. The package includes a pair of ATH-M40x professional headphones. An AT2035 cardioid condenser microphone and the Audient iD4 interface as well as all the cables and cases you need.

AT2035 Condenser Microphone

To capture all your lovely audio the AT2035 Studio includes the Audio Technica 2035 large diaphragm fixed pattern condenser microphone.  The 2035 was designed with the home and project studio in mind, but it is just as at home live on stage. The AT2035 delivers exceptional detail and low noise. With its extended low-frequency response, the AT2035 provides rich, full sound reproduction and handles extremely high sound pressure levels with ease. It even comes with a shock mount and badded bad for safe keeping.

ATH-M40x Headphones

The final Audio Technica hardware component of the package are the ATHM40x Headphones. The ATH-M40x professional monitor headphones are tuned flat for incredibly accurate audio monitoring across an extended frequency range. The studio experience is enhanced with superior sound isolation and swiveling earcups for convenient one-ear monitoring. Engineered with pro-grade materials and robust construction, the M40x excels in professional studio tracking and mixing, as well as DJ monitoring.

Accessories

The AT2035 Studio also includes all the cables and extra bits that get forgotten about when we buy (or someone else buys) our first recording gear. The only thing missing in my book would be a basic pop shied but you can pick these up quite cheap or even make one out of a pair of tights (NEW) and a wire coat-hanger.

Audient iD4

The final jewel in the crown is the amazing Audient iD4 USB audio interface.
iD4 delivers the audio performance of a large format console in a portable desktop package enabling you to record your vocals and guitar simultaneously. Providing one renowned Audient console mic pre, class-leading converter technology, dual headphone outputs, console style monitor control, JFET D.I and our virtual scroll wheel technology 'ScrollControl', iD4 is a professional but affordable solution for your home studio or for when you’re on the road.

Winner

Congratulations to Will Melones of Kearny, NJ, USA who is the winner of the Audient iD22 in our 2017 Christmas competition.

Will is a  freelance producer and engineer and says he often finds himself wearing a lot of different audio hats.  "Some days I’m recording independent artists or producing pop tracks.  Other days I may be tracking Hollywood film scores, mixing podcasts, or writing jingles.  Some nights I’m playing bass in New York City clubs or live musicals.  A big part of my income comes from running the engineering side of a particular TV composer’s personal studio, and I have a business on the side building custom audio cables."

"The Audio Technica AT2025 Studio Bundle will be perfect for mobile recording as well as day to day home studio use.  Audio Technica mics like the AT2025 are well known for their honesty and reliability and can capture pretty much any source with great results."

Once again many congratulations to Will and if you would like to be in with a chance of winning Pro Audio goodies, head over to our WIN page to see what if on offer this month.
