One of the new features announced in Pro Tools 12.8.2 was Batch Renaming of Tracks and Clips. In this free video tutorial, Pro Tools Expert team member Julian Rodgers uses the batch rename window to rename a group of tracks using Find and Replace, Trim, Add and Number.

The Batch Rename functions can be used to rename tracks or clips and as well as offering very powerful renaming options, any regularly used renaming operations can be saved in one of five user presets in the same way as zoom and clip effect processing can be stored in user presets.
