From Plugin Alliance the three plug-ins all offer painstaking modelling of all 72 channels in an SSL E series, SSL G series and Neve VXS respectively. This TMT modelling technique means that the slight variations between the channels in each console are faithfully reproduced, as illustrated in the video below which compared identical settings on the bx_console E bx_console G.

In the Pro Tools Expert 2017 Christmas Competition we offered the chance to win one of 31 great prizes worth over $16,000 in total. Rudy Perales is the winner of the bx_console E, G and N Plug-ins From Plugin Alliance Worth $897.

"My name is Rudy Perales and I’m 24 years old. I’ve been a musician all my life and started playing  bass for church growing up.

 I recently graduated in July 2017 and received my Associate of Science in Recording Arts at The Los Angeles Recording School. During school I also became Pro Tools 12 certified.

 Around September I got hired as a Sound Tech at Union Club La and do FOH and monitor mixes for Artists, Dj’s and bands. 

I also got hired at a new Venue in Long Beach Ca and do similar duties. 

I really enjoy doing live sound but I’m also aiming towards recording and mixing local bands. 

I’ve been taking advantage of the consoles I work with and have been recording bands live with the Midas M32. The Sound Card on it is solid :). My goal is start building a portfolio and get some mixing gigs. I currently don’t have a sound treated recording space but I’m aiming to get there some day.

So having won those awesome plugins will be a great tool for my mixes. 

Just in time for a mix I was preparing. I recently recorded a reggae band called Jangala Roots and plan to use the bx consoles on it.
