In the Pro Tools Expert 2017 Christmas Competition, we offered the chance of winning a copy of Zynaptiq's DESIGN Bundle, worth $350, as one of 31 great prizes on offer worth over $16,000 in total. We can announce that Kristi McIntyre is the lucky winner.

What Plug-ins Are Included In Zynaptiq DESIGN Bundle?

The Zynaptiq Design Bundle includes both ADAPTIVERB and WORMHOLE plus MORPH 2 – a real-time plug-in for structural audio morphing, the sonic equivalent of one object slowly changing its shape to become a different object.

ADAPTIVERB

Released in 2016, ADAPTIVERB takes a different approach to typical reverb plug-ins. It's very smart, it adapts to audio and blends reverb in a mix perfectly. ADAPTIVERB doesn´t clutter up  a mix and sounds very smooth.

WORMHOLE

An indispensable tool for sound designers, film composers and electronic musicians alike, WORMHOLE makes the usually time-consuming workflows of creating high-quality Sci-Fi sounds and creature voices fast, easy, fun and extremely hi-fi.

Not limited to SFX, WORMHOLE is also a superb tool for musical sweetening and ambient effects - from the grungy to the shimmering and lush. Turn a piano track and drum mix into an epic soundtrack-style ambient piece or process a single guitar track to produce a warm, smooth and huge wall of sound.

MORPH 2

MORPH 2 includes 5 different morphing algorithms, an easy to use formant shifter as well as a built-in reverb that extends sounds much like some highly revered vintage hardware boxes. Morph 2 opens up a whole new universe of sounds to explore.

Winner - Kristi McIntyre

Hi, I’m Kristi! After trying my hand at a career in an unrelated, non-creative field and finding little satisfaction or sense of belonging in it, I decided to pursue my dream of going to film school. I started the Media Arts program at Sheridan College in Ontario with thoughts of focusing on cinematography or art direction, but quickly became enamoured with post-production sound, a craft I had not really consciously considered before, and took on as much sound work as I could get my sleep-deprived student hands on. Since graduating in 2013, I’ve been a freelance sound editor and re-recording mixer, and have split my time between a few post houses in Toronto and my small home studio. Lately, I’ve been spending much of my time on dialogue and sound effects editorial for film and animated TV shows. When I’m not locked in a dark cutting room or mix stage I like to spend time out in nature hiking, rock climbing and listening.

I’m so thankful for and excited to experiment with these new tools from Zynaptiq to enhance my sound design work and come up with brand new sounds and ways of creating. I'm so grateful to be working in this field, and this wonderful community is just one of the very many reasons why!
