It's time for us at Pro Tools Expert to hold our hands up and admit we made a mistake with some of the details surrounding the announcement of the DigiLink licence fee offer by our friends at Focusrite.

Focusrite offers to pay the Avid Digilink License fee that is incurred when purchasing a non-Avid HD interface for Pro Tools HDX, HD Native and HD Thunderbolt Native systems.

We reported that this offer would be valid for all new purchases of Focusrite Red8Pre, Red4Pre and RedNet 5 units. Sadly, because of our mix up of information, this is not the case. This offer does not include the RedNet 5 Protools HD bridge unit.
