We have seen a number of comments on stories announcing new plug-ins like the Waves Infected Mushroom Pusher and the Waves Electric 88 Piano not being included in their Mercury Bundle. Here are some examples...

• "This is the 3rd or 4th plugin release in a row from Waves which is not included in the Mercury Bundle. I'm not liking this trend, as a Mercury user". - Ryan

So we asked our friends at Waves about this and the Waves team have come back to us saying….

"Most new plug-ins are added to the Mercury Bundle however there are some plug-ins that we are unable to add to the Mercury Bundle because of licensing and business agreements. Here is a list of all the plug-ins that have been added to the Mercury Bundle since Waves v5…."

Thanks to the  Waves team for coming back to us very quickly with the reason why some plug-in cannot be included in the Mercury Bundle. It would appear as if some of the new plug-ins, especially where 3rd parties are involved, that the licensing terms and conditions prevent Waves from including them in bundles.
