At the beginning of the year we reported that it was still possible to buy upgrade plans with Activation Cards from authorised Avid dealers whilst stocks last. Don't forget you only have one week left to do this before you will have to buy your upgrade and support plans a the new prices. That means for example a Pro Tools 12HD upgrade is going up from around £399 ex vat to £659 ex vat.

If you are thinking about getting on board with an upgrade plan then now would be a very good time to do it. So first check if your own dealer still has any stock left.

Remember that if you do buy any of last year's upgrade activation cards that you MUST register the upgrade before February 15th 2016. This is a warning notice one dealer gives...

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The license code for this product must be activated prior to February 15th 2016. If this code is not redeemed prior to February 15th 2016, this software license becomes invalid and you will not be able to activate this product.  

Once dealers have sold out of last year's stock you will be able to buy the upgrades at the new prices or use your Avid Master Account to trigger an upgrade purchase via the Avid Store at the new prices.
