Our friends at Avid, the makers of Pro Tools, have announced the Music in Motion contest, with a chance to win a trip to LA, the chance to work with a top producer and the chance to win studio gear.

The competition requires entrants to download a copy of Avid Pro Tools First, create a track using it and submit the song. The tracks will be listened to by chart-topping producers and contest judge Jason Evigan or Jesse "Corparal" Wilson On the competition website Avid say;

• Compose and record an original song no longer than 4 minutes using Pro Tools | First.
• Once your song is ready to be heard, fill out the form below, upload a screenshot of your Pro Tools | First session, and upload a stereo mix of your song for Jason or Jesse to hear.

Only one song submission is allowed per contestant. This contest is open from February 8–March 31, 2016 to US residents who are 18 years of age or older only. Please read the Contest Rules for complete details and all terms and conditions.
