The Avid Pro Tools upgrade plan is normally $99 per year for Pro Tools Native but if you allow your upgrade plan to lapse or you have never bought into an upgrade plan then you have to buy what Avid call a Reinstatement Plan to get you into the current version of Pro Tools. For Pro Tools Native the price for this is $299 and for that you get the latest version of Pro Tools, currently 12.6.1, and free upgrades for one year.

With this special offer for the same price of $299 you get an extra year of upgrades included, so for no additional cost you can be sure that you will have the latest version of Pro Tools for 2 years.

No Equivalent Offer For HD Users

Unfortunately Avid are not making an equivalent offer for Pro Tools HD users who have let their more expensive upgrade and support plan lapse or haven't bought into it yet. This offer is only for Pro Tools Native users.

Don't Delay Your Activation

However you must buy and activate your reinstatement Plan before 31st December 2016 to get the extra year's upgrade plan.

As it is the activation process that gives you the extra year's upgrade plan, if you have already bought a Reinstatement plan but not yet activated it then you are in luck. As long as you activate it before December 31st 2016 then you too will get an extra year of upgrades at no extra charge.
