Non linear can be classified as all those nice sounding processes usually produced by even harmonics. It is often those very even harmonic processes that produce warm sounding effects like valve processes and tape emulation.

In this free video tutorial, Paul Drew looks at the fantastic J37 plug-in from Waves to add a tape delay and flanger for width in the mix. Paul starts off changing tape type and input levels. Then by changing the delay settings and wow and flutter, achieves some movement by adding stereo width.
