In the A-Z of UAD series, for the letter T we look at the Tonelux Tilt EQ. Tilt EQs offer control of the frequency spectrum in the broadest terms. If you tilt clockwise, the treble gets boosted and the bass gets cut, vice-versa for counterclockwise - Simple!

The Tonelux Tilt EQ models a hardware unit of the same name and by combining the tilt EQ with gentle high and low pass filters and a dangerously addictive "Loud" mode which dials in a smile EQ curve (think loudness buttons on old stereos!). 

In this video Julian Rodgers tours the UI, demonstrates the tilt modes and the filters and looks at the differences between the Tonelux Tilt and the Tonelux Tilt Live versions of the plug in.
