On the show floor at NAMM 2016 Dan Cooper meets Michael at the Tegeler Audio Manufaktur stand. Dan talks to Michael about the new Der Kompressor product that claims to offer the best of both worlds in analog sonics and digital control.

You may remember that I wrote a post about the unique features of the Der Kompressor which promises to be a very clever Vari Mu compressor with 11-modes.  The unit is controllable  both on the unit itself and via a software plugin thanks to the unit’s motor potentiometers.

We also get a sneak peak at a hardware mastering matrix which is controlled with a plug-in.
