Our friends at Focusrite along with Eastwood Audio Visual have made a very nice video for their new Focusrite Clarett 8Pre Thunderbolt Interface featuring it in use and also audio examples.

The Focusrite Clarett range of Thunderbolt Audio Interfaces are the next generation of high quality audio centre-pieces for the home and professional studio. The Clarett 8Pre is an 18 in, 20 out interface and features 8 of the newly designed microphone pre amps. 

We decided to create a video that not only looks at the audio interface in depth, but we also recorded an entire acoustic performance through it using only the built in microphone pre amps and nothing else.

The signal chain was the following: 
Vocals into a Neumann TLM 103 into the Clarett 8Pre
Acoustic Guitar miced with a Neumann KM184 and DI, both into channels 1+2 of the Clarett 8Pre.
