Avid, the makers of Pro Tools, have issued advice on Windows 10 compatibility for Pro Tools and other audio software and interfaces. They say:

"Microsoft has recently announced the upcoming release of Windows 10 on July 29, 2015. This is free upgrade available to all current Windows users (volume licensing customers will be able to download Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education on Volume Licensing Service Center starting August 1).

As of this time, Avid has not completed qualification of Windows 10 and strongly recommends customers DO NOT upgrade to this OS version until qualification is complete. There are also known issues with the current shipping versions of some of our products that will need to be addressed prior to qualification."
