A Unique Weekend Seminar On The Art Of Mastering

Learn insider tips and sharpen your mastering skills at iZotope’s inaugural Mastering Academy weekend, an exclusive learning opportunity for audio professionals.

The iZotope Mastering Academy will take place on July 23-25 at iZotope’s headquarters just outside of Boston in the US. it will take the from of a small-group practicum, designed for audio professionals like you who want to learn the techniques to create great sounding masters. isotope intend that you will leave the weekend having gained new skills which will help to set you apart from other audio engineers.

The Mastering Academy will be led by Grammy-nominated mastering expert Jonathan Wyner (David Bowie, Nirvana), who is now iZotope's Director of Education. Jonathan told us...

I really enjoy coaching musicians and engineers and watching the light bulbs go off. The  Mastering Academy is a perfect setting for each participant to learn new things through hands-on practice as well as through a rich exchange of ideas with other professionals.

Jonathan will also be joined by special guest Adam Ayan (Katy Perry, Barbara Streisand), and this intensive workshop will combine instruction, hands-on practice, and personalized mentoring designed to take your mastering abilities to the next level.

It is very interesting that iZotope are taking a new direction in training and supporting their user base, in appointing Jonathan as their Director Of Education, as well as having a facility in their Boston headquarters that can host these kind of events. Tops marks to iZotope for starting this initiative and being based in the UK I hope they will consider taking these academies on the road around the world.
