In this show and tell, Julian takes a tour of Vintage Upright and Mellotoon from Toontrack’s innovative EZ Keys line. EZ Keys is a virtual instrument which ships with a MIDI library of phrases which aims to do for keys what virtual drummer instruments did for drums. This review features two of the newest additions to the range, an Ostlind and Almquist upright piano from the late 1800’s and the Mellotron.
