The Verdict

What I love about this limiter is that it gives me that extra clean bit of volume energy that a lot of limiters fail to provide.  The metering is quick and easy to follow with the unity gain control acting as a great assistant in getting me to use my ears more in critical limiter decision making.

If I have to find any fault with it then I suppose it is a shame the output meters do not show the final limiter metering results when the unity gain monitor control is engaged as I find I have to keep switching it 'in' and 'out' to view my RMS output level.

The bottom line is that I find IK Multimedia's Stealth limiter a very powerful tool that's fast becoming my go to limiter of choice.  I strongly recommend downloading the 14 day trial from which you can test it yourself with your own material so that you can also experience that little extra clean energy it seems to offer.
