There have been a lot of jokes about the new Mac Pro, video and images have done the rounds on the internet with memes playing on everything from the trash can likeness to a popular image showing the sheer mess of connections when attaching peripherals.

However, in a Lab Challenge Macworld have taken the possibility of connecting 6 peripherals off all 6 Thunderbolt ports to the extreme and tested what would happen if 36 Thunderbolt devices were attached to a single Mac Pro.

The image alone (shown above) is worth its weight in gold, but the findings are equally interesting.
