Audio Assault have released a free transient shaper plug-in for Pro Tools.

They say:

Transient is a free envelope shaper plug-in. Increase the attack of a snare, highlight picking on an acoustic guitar or smash a drum room. Use the x2 switch to double the intensity of the effect.

*All plug-ins are available 32/64 bit and AAX Mac and PC.
