You can easily use Pro Tools with two operators. If you have 2 Macs, then you can use the “shared screen” function of OS X. So you can have a MacBook controlling the session (and lot of them !). Perfect with students and assistant. Try it. 

Neil says - Alternatively you can do a multicast screen share on Windows/OSX/Linux/ipad/iphone or any combination of the above with the free version of TeamViewer.
