The post community is buzzing with this bit of unexpected news. Yes Avid have dropped TC/E from Pro Tools 11. This algorithm, although very old, was brilliant at time compressing or expanding clean speech and debatably none of the newer equivalents can touch it, so it is a big blow that Avid have dropped it. There is a thread on the DUC and although there are a number of suggestions for alternatives but a growing number are asking for TC/E to be reinstated. What do you think?
