We are getting a lot of questions regarding Pro Tools 11 ship dates, to be honest we were given two dates off-the-record and both have been blown.

Our understanding is that is likely that Avid will take advantage of the time they have left in the Q2 window to ship as stable a product as they can. After all what’s the problem with waiting a few more weeks if we all end up with a few less bugs to iron out?

Just to be clear, dealers taking orders or offering upgrade deals is not the same as shipping the product.

We will keep you posted, but consider anything before the end of June as a bonus.
