We have been enjoying the thought-provoking articles from Denis Kilty and are now greatly pleased to announce Denis has accepted the role of Features Editor at Pro Tools Expert.

Denis is a graduate of Commerce from University College Dublin and a final year undergraduate of the B.A. in Music Production from Windmill Lane Recording Academy / Pulse College.  Denis is a freelance music producer, songwriter, mixing engineer and composer for commercial games, TV and film. 

Based out of his private composition studio in south Dublin, Denis spends most of his time ghostwriting and producing records with Irish and international acts (US&UK), more recently focusing on the area of computer game music. His work has been broadcast on RTE, SkyOne, SkyNews, E4, MTV and more, and his original music has been performed in major Irish venues such as the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and soon the National Concert Hall Dublin too. Denis enjoys writing features for Pro Tools Expert in his spare time, imparting his experience of not only the composing and writing, but also the business end of the industry. He also, like any true Irish lad, enjoys a good pint on the day off!
