Community Tip - Winner From Podcast 85 - Shortcuts For MIDI Tracks

With the support of iLok, more tips & tricks from the community. Here is one from Judson Crane…

I came upon this by accident in PT11 today.  If you have a MIDI or Inst track in record and you use Command + up or down arrow, it will take that track out of record and place the next visible MIDI/Inst track into record.  Add the shift key and it will latch the following tracks in record mode!  And you can hit both up and down in any order and it will continue to latch surrounding MIDI and Inst tracks into record mode.   A good alternative for tracking MIDI quickly to the “P” and “;” keys to move up and down selections and then hitting “shift R” to pull in and out of record.
