Ex Digidesign man Paul Foeckler has been promoted to President and CEO of Line 6.

In a press release they say “For the past year, Paul Foeckler has led the Line 6 product and marketing teams. Prior to Line 6, he held executive roles in product development, sales and marketing at Digidesign, M-Audio and Avid, where he led expansion into new markets while delivering significant revenue growth and industry-acclaimed product developments.”

This is becoming an interesting proposition, with recent hires including Max Gutnik, who knows what’s cooking at Line 6. What is evident with recent product introductions, such as the Stagescape mixer, is that Line 6 are going to be far more than a guitar effects company in the future.
