Producer Ken Andrews (Beck, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Failure) has joined with Avid in this experiment.

Ken produced UK rock band Lostprophets’ latest release, Weapons, tracking and then mixing the songs “in the box” with Pro Tools|HD Accel. As an experiment, he remixed the band’s first single, “Bring ’Em Down,” on his 6-card Pro Tools|HD Accel system and then duplicated it on a 2-card Pro Tools|HDX system to see if he could hear a difference.
