Walter Everton

Walter Everton is a freelance audio engineer and musician in Nashville, TN where he works on independent projects both in production and in post. He also plays the French Horn regularly with the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra as well as other independent gigs.

Walter received two undergraduate degrees from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in 2017 and 2018 where he performed and recorded many concerts and projects, most notably as Principal Horn with the Wind Ensemble and the Summer Orchestra concert of John Williams’s music in 2016.

Also, while at university he recorded surround recordings of the Philharmonic Orchestra’s and Oratorio Chorus’s performance of Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem in 2014 and the Philharmonic Orchestra performance of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No.1 in 2016. Additionally, he engineered and edited the Latin American Music Center’s recording competition in 2016 which can be found here.

After receiving his degrees, Walter expanded into work for film and television where he handles everything from location recording to music composition and post.
